Community Care volunteers are the agency’s "First Responders" and provide assistance to clients who are reaching out to Catholic Charities for help during a difficult time in their lives. We need volunteers to field initial call center phone calls, schedule appointments based on type of service needed, provide preliminary information on possible solutions that CCFW can offer, guide clients on paperwork/documentation needed. Program training will be provided.
Volunteer requirements:
- Attend a Volunteer Orientation
- Complete volunteer paperwork and pass an annual background check
- Willing to serve at least three months with the opportunity to serve long term
- Able to commit 3.5 hours per week
