Who We Are
At Catholic Charities Fort Worth, we believe every parent deserves to feel supported, equipped, and empowered as they welcome a new life into the world. Our Pregnancy and Parenting Support services walk alongside expectant and new parents, offering compassionate care and practical resources when it matters most.
Through programs like Gabriel Project and Blessed Beginnings, we provide one-on-one mentoring, case management, material assistance, parenting education, and emotional support for parents facing unplanned or difficult pregnancies and for families with young children. Gabriel Project offers ongoing support throughout pregnancy and up to one year after the baby is born. Our vision is a community where no parent feels alone, and every child has the chance to thrive.
What We Do
Our Pregnancy and Parenting Support services are rooted in compassion, dignity, and hope. We serve families throughout the Diocese of Fort Worth, offering tailored support to meet parents where they are in their journey.
Gabriel Project pairs trained volunteer mentors with expectant mothers to offer encouragement, guidance, and practical assistance throughout pregnancy and for the first year of the baby’s life. Gabriel Project also provides these mothers with case management to address resource stability, goals, and other needs. Blessed Beginnings provides parenting classes, material support such as diapers and baby essentials, and connections to community resources to help families build a strong foundation for their children’s future.
Together, these programs ensure that parents have access to the emotional, educational, and material resources they need to nurture healthy, stable families — empowering them to move forward with confidence and hope.
