Volunteer: Blessed Beginnings Childcare Volunteer

Our Blessed Beginnings program is looking for volunteers to assist with watching children 5 and under while their parents attend classes. 

Duties will include supervising and engaging in age-appropriate activities to entertain/occupy younger children while their parents attend classes.  Coloring books, crayons, and snacks are provided by CCFW. Program training will be provided.·     

Requirements

Attend a Volunteer Orientation.Complete volunteer paperwork and pass an annual background check. Able to commit a minimum of 2 hours per week. Willing to serve at least six months with the opportunity to serve long term. Volunteers should be comfortable working with children and be able to perform light physical activity (i.e., lifting, bending, standing on your feet for prolonged periods).Attend Blessed Beginnings program training and in person tour.

Our Blessed Beginnings program has a need for volunteers to assist with registration, interpretation, and helping clients check out in the Baby Boutique. Program training will be provided.

Volunteer: Gabriel Project Angel Mentor

**Must be an adult female practicing Catholic**

Our Gabriel Project needs volunteer mentors who will support clients with unexpected pregnancies throughout their pregnancy until the baby's first birthday. Volunteers will spend approximately 5 hours a month mentoring through emails, texts, phone calls, and in person visits. This is one of our most flexible volunteer opportunities because the volunteer schedule is established between the mentor and the client. Volunteers are matched to a Gabriel Angel client in the geographic area of your choice. In Person Gabriel Project Angel Training will be provided.
