Our Transportation program needs volunteers to help provide rides to clients in need of a ride to work, medical, and other appointments. Volunteers will drive a CCFW transportation vehicle.

Volunteer Requirements:

Be at least 21 years old and have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance.Attend a Volunteer Orientation Complete volunteer paperwork, pass a background check and drug test, and complete additional training. Willing to serve at least three months with the opportunity to serve long term. Commit to at least three hours per week.

Our Blessed Beginnings program is looking for volunteers to assist with watching children 5 and under while their parents attend classes. 

Duties will include supervising and engaging in age-appropriate activities to entertain/occupy younger children while their parents attend classes.  Coloring books, crayons, and snacks are provided by CCFW. Program training will be provided.·     

Requirements

Willing to serve at least six months with the opportunity to serve long term. Volunteers should be comfortable working with children and be able to perform light physical activity (i.e., lifting, bending, standing on your feet for prolonged periods).Attend Blessed Beginnings program training and in person tour.

Our Blessed Beginnings program has a need for volunteers to assist with registration, interpretation, and helping clients check out in the Baby Boutique. Program training will be provided.

Able to commit a minimum of 2 hours per week. Bilingual in English/SpanishVolunteers should be able to perform light physical activity (i.e., lifting, bending, standing on your feet for prolonged periods).Attend Blessed Beginnings program training and in person tour. 

The Dental Clinic needs volunteers to call patients and remind them of their upcoming appointments, answer incoming phone calls, and assist with patient paperwork. 

Volunteer requirements:

Attend a Volunteer OrientationComplete volunteer paperwork and pass a background check.Willing to serve at least two months or longer.Be cordial and professional, love to speak on the phone, and are comfortable using a computer.

Our Gabriel Project needs volunteer mentors who will support clients with unexpected pregnancies throughout their pregnancy until the baby's first birthday. Volunteers will spend approximately 5 hours a month mentoring through emails, texts, phone calls, and in person visits. This is one of our most flexible volunteer opportunities because the volunteer schedule is established between the mentor and the client. Volunteers are matched to a Gabriel Angel client in the geographic area of your choice. In Person Gabriel Project Angel Training will be provided.

Community Care volunteers are the agency’s "First Responders" and provide assistance to clients who are reaching out to Catholic Charities for help during a difficult time in their lives. We need volunteers to greet site guests and assess needs of any walk-in visitors. Program training will be provided. 

Volunteer requirements:

Attend a Volunteer Orientation Complete volunteer paperwork and pass an annual background check Willing to serve at least three months with the opportunity to serve long term Able to commit 4 hours per week 

Community Care volunteers are the agency’s "First Responders" and provide assistance to clients who are reaching out to Catholic Charities for help during a difficult time in their lives. We need volunteers to field initial call center phone calls, schedule appointments based on type of service needed, provide preliminary information on possible solutions that CCFW can offer, guide clients on paperwork/documentation needed. Program training will be provided.

Volunteer requirements:

Attend a Volunteer Orientation Complete volunteer paperwork and pass an annual background check Willing to serve at least three months with the opportunity to serve long term Able to commit 3.5 hours per week 

Our Community Connections program needs volunteers to answer incoming phone calls, greet clients at the office, assist clients with completing their online applications, and other general office duties. 

Volunteer requirements:

Attend a Know Poverty Hour Complete volunteer paperwork and pass an annual background check.Willing to serve at least three months or longer.Willing to volunteer four or more hours per week.
